Bicycle Playing Cards – The Secret That Saved Prisoners of War

In World War 2, the United States government concocted a genius plan to rescue prisoners of war using maps disguised as playing cards. The military partnered with Bicycle and the red cross to deliver Christmas gifts to the POWs, thus beginning their escape. It was an ingenious plan that saved hundreds.
